We are a secondary market dealer, which means we are not tied to one brand's allocation list. We buy, sell, and source across brands, so the conversation starts with the watch you actually want instead of the watch we were assigned.
Rolex
Submariner, Datejust, GMT-Master, Yacht-Master, Daytona. Clients come in asking for a reference and leave having tried three. Tell us the model and the size and we will tell you straight whether we have it or can get it.
Patek Philippe
Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava. Collectors trade into Patek from Rolex here more often than you would think, and we take that trade in the room instead of over email.
Audemars Piguet
Not everyone wants a Rolex, and you can't go wrong with AP's iconic design and exceptional craftmenship.

Walk into most watch stores in this city and someone asks what your budget is before they ask your name. Our showroom is at 1800 Post Oak with an open layout, a couple of chairs, and usually something to drink.

Born and raised in Houston, an Aggie, and in the jewelry trade full-time since May 2008. He grew up working summers in his father's store and spent six years at Wolf Diamonds before starting The Crown with Tim.
Tim Langolf
Co-Founder
Started his diamond career at Wolf Diamonds in 2015 and managed the store for years. He played collegiate golf, still plays, and will talk you out of a watch that is wrong for your wrist.

Most of the watches we place were not sitting in the showroom when the client asked for them.
You tell us the reference
Model, size, dial, bracelet, and whether you want it new or worn. Text a photo if that is easier. Jonathan and Tim both answer their own phones.
We work the network
Two decades of Houston and national dealer relationships between the two of us. We tell you what we find and what it costs, and we tell you when the answer is no.
You see it before you commit
You handle the watch in the store, check the papers and the condition in front of us, and decide from there.
Selling a watch, or trading up
Bring the watch in and we will look at it with you at the counter. We buy outright and we take trades, including trading a Rolex toward a Patek. You will hear what we can do that day, in person, rather than a range in an email followed by a lower number when the package arrives.

What is The Crown Houston?
The Crown Houston, Diamond & Timepiece Dealer is an independent jeweler and luxury watch dealer at 1800 Post Oak Blvd, Ste. 6150, in Houston's Galleria district. Jonathan Nuncio and Tim Langolf founded it in January 2024. We custom-make engagement rings from scratch and we source and sell luxury timepieces.
Where is your watch store located?
1800 Post Oak Blvd, Ste. 6150, Houston, TX 77056, in Uptown near the Galleria. Parking is in the building.
Which watch brands do you carry?
Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet most often, with new inventory arriving weekly. If you are looking for a specific reference we do not have, tell us and we will look for it.
Are you an authorized dealer?
No. We are an independent dealer, which means we source across brands on the secondary market rather than working from one brand's allocation list.
Do I need an appointment to see watches?
No. Walk-ins are always welcome during open hours. Booking a time means we can have specific pieces out and ready when you arrive.
Do you buy watches or take trade-ins?
Yes to both. Bring the watch to the store and we will evaluate it with you at the counter.
